M.Sc. form Columbia University in the City of New York where forged advanced electrical engineering skills via research intensive program designed to train engineers in cutting-edge telecommunications, networking, and mobile technologies. Established advanced understanding of LTE and WiMAX systems, MIMO systems, and wireless mobile communications networks. Expanded strengths in digital signals processing and random signals and noise. Honed knowledge of computer communications networks. Applied cumulative mastery to completing projects based on real world technological challenges.

Received B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering majoring in Communication and Electronics Engineering from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah. Undergraduate program established foundational strengths in electrical engineering theories and concepts including digital and analog circuitry design, communications theory, antenna theory and electromagnetic waves and propagation. Developed understanding of digital communication systems, measurement methods, and instrumentation.

Working on Massive MIMO within a 5G project in conjunction with University of California, San Diego as researcher in Center of Excellence for Telecommunication Applications. The Project aims to tackle the problem of pilot contamination by designing more sophisticated channel model, training sequences, and coding algorithms that mitigate interference and make better utilization of resources.

Current research interests include: Information Theory, Estimation Theory, Stochastic and Random Processes, Machine Learning, Algorithms, and Convex Optimization.
