Abdullah Alfadhly is currently joining King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (Riyadh) as an Assistant Research Professor leading the ubiquitous computing research team in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Center. His research interests include Wireless Sensor networks, Context-aware computing, Machine to machine and Internet of things Protocols. He has B.S, M.S, and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from King Saud University (Riyadh), CWRU (Cleveland), and King Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals (Dhahran), respectively. He has published several papers in the area of wireless sensor networks in respected journals and peer review conferences. Beside his academic and research activities, alfadhly is an open source advocate involving in several projects promoting open source technologies. Alfadhly is also serving in the advisory board of college of engineering, Alfaisal University.
