B,Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University, specializing in communication systems with an Excellent Grade. Completed extensive course work and projects on:

  • Digital communication: Power spectra and bandwidth efficiency of binary and quaternary modulation schemes, Signaling over fading channels, diversity and channel coding techniques for mobile radio, MIMO systems, error correction codes, and channel estimation.
  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP): Digital filter design, tracking, and localization.
  • Communication Network: Internet Protocols including TCP/IP, UDP. Routing algorithms, MAC layer protocol e.g. IEEE 802.11.
  • Satellite communication: Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and Satellite network constellation design.
  • Wireless communication: have working knowledge on Modern Wireless Systems and Standards; 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G+, wireless networks, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and LTE. A
  • Participated as a designer in Performance Analysis of Power Control Communication in UAV Video Streaming project, conducted at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology.
  • Graduation Senior Project: FPGA-based Real-Time implementation for MEG Spike Detection using Dynamic Time Warping Algorithm.
  • Working on Massive MIMO within a 5G project in conjunction with University of California, San Diego as researcher in Center of Excellence for Telecommunication Applications. The Project aims tackle the problem of pilot contamination by designing more sophisticated channel model, training sequences, and coding algorithms that mitigate interference and make better utilization of resources.
I'm interested in learning more about Radar systems, Wireless communications, Digital communications, and MIMO systems.
