Sara Aldoweesh received the BSc degree in information technology from King Saud University in 2013. She has interest in Mobile Applications, during her education she worked with King Abdul Aziz & his Companions Foundation for Giftedness & Creativity as an iOS developer. In 2013, she joined Center of Excellence for Telecom Applications, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology as a researcher. Her research interests include Smartphone Technologies, Internet of Things and Accessibility of Mobile Applications. Sara is a member of IWAN Research Group. While in CETA, Sara worked on several projects, starting from Announce, which is mobile application play a critical role in emergency situations such as natural disasters, extreme weather and security threats. Then she worked on Color Reader project which aimed to give visually impaired Arabic speakers the possibility to precisely detect all colors in real time using their own language. She published a conference paper on this project with other co-authors. Next, she proposed a QR storage and size saving algorithm with Dr.Amr Alasaad and Felwah AlHamed, the algorithm efficiently encodes Arabic text or bilingual text in small storage size. In 2017, they got a patent on this novel algorithm. Recently, she is working on Internet of Things project as a software engineer.
